Materials & Craftsmanship
Redwood Burl (Sequoia sempervirens): “Sempervirens" literally means "always living," and this tree's marvelous vitality and resistance, as well as its evergreen nature, make the name especially appropriate. Burls form as a tree's response to stress, injury, or infection, creating unique and captivating designs.
Epoxy Resin: To accentuate the wood's natural beauty, we filled its internal voids with resin in a marbled amber hue. This enhances the wood’s warm, rich tones while adding a touch of elegance.
Base: The base features a unique brushed copper paint finish that complements the gold flecks in the resin. This subtle yet breathtaking color shines particularly when the light hits it just right.
