It features a 10' x 46" Live Edge Book Matched Black Walnut Slab with sensational figuring and a natural "crotch" at one end. Sea Isle City, New Jersey

After several on-site visits during the clients' kitchen remodel we provided plans for a sensational new custom island. The species was selected based on other finishes in the space, and for the fabulous grain and visual movement. The interior features were added to accommodate the functionality they needed, to include extra wide and deep drawers with custom pulls in Black Walnut, and storage for specialty items and access to them. Their marble top and need for power supply were factored into the plan, to provide the perfect height and convenient features.

New Hope, Pennsylvania

Previous clients of Jeffrey Greene contacted us to create custom pieces for their home theatre. After finalizing dimensions and the design, we sourced two of the most spectacularly figured Live Edge Bastogne Walnut Slabs ever found. As the clients are fans of Natural Edge, organic slabs, we secured any inclusions with butterfly surface inlays but left the natural voids. The Coffee Table is paired with a massive Double L base in Ebonized Maple. The Consoles, shown in the Studio, were crafted with a double waterfall edge for continuous grain, at a height that worked with the custom home theatre recliners. fee Table

This monumental 16' 6" long x 58" wide Dining Table is crafted from a rare Bookmatched Black Walnut Slab, showcasing rich grain patterns and a warm, natural tone. A custom reverse knife edge around the entire perimeter mirrors the geometry of the bases and inlays, along with angles in the space. A continuous solid brass inlay runs the length of the slab, including the edges, punctuated by a sequence of sculptural brass butterfly inlays that highlight the natural seam of the Bookmatch. This massive Slab top is supported by three custom sized Inverted Trapezoid bases, each finished in a satin brass powder coated finish, providing both structural integrity and visual balance for a showpiece of this scale.

An unexpected pairing brought to life with precision and boldness, this sculptural wall piece features a massive section of Mappa Burl layered over a dark, grounding Black Walnut slab. At 10 feet wide and 35 inches tall, it commands vertical space with organic movement and rich contrast. The Mappa Burl Slab - filled with craters, voids, swirling burl figure, and nubby edges - appears to float above the deeper tones of the Walnut, creating striking depth and shadow thanks to a 6" standoff from the wall.

Crafted from solid red oak and ebonized to a deep black tone, this custom portfolio stand was built to showcase a client’s collection of concert posters. The intersecting planes create a bold, sculptural form that remains clean and minimal, letting the artwork take center stage. Designed with both function and presence in mind, the open angle provides an inviting way to browse through the portfolio while keeping it elevated and protected. A unique project that resulted in a beautifully simple display, perfectly suited for a collection meant to be seen.

Doylestown, Pennnsylvania

A bookmatched pair of Black Walnut slabs with a clean live edge, joined to form a single top with strong grain movement and natural symmetry. The base is a set of sculpted bronze T forms, finished in a dark oil that complements the walnut tones without drawing attention away from the top.

This in-house coffee table marks the origin of The Fjudl base design. Developed as a collaborative project with our shop manager, it draws from Scandinavian joinery traditions while exploring proportion on a smaller scale. The angled leg geometry and notched rail connection reflect a balance of precision and simplicity, resulting in a sturdy, honest form that became the foundation for later iterations. A quiet but pivotal piece in our design evolution.

This wonderful Live Edge Book Matched Black Walnut Dining Table is shown set for a cozy dinner in our own Bucks County, PA. The Double L Base Design allows for maximum legroom and no knee obstruction. We love that they opted to keep the natural edges and visible sapwood. Even the four legged family member wanted to get in!

We built these vanities as part of a collaborative project with a nearby bed and breakfast. Each piece was made to suit a different room, with sizes tailored to fit the space. All of the woodworking was done in-house at our shop, while the marble tops were crafted separately and fit to each base. Though not a one-of-a-kind piece, this was a local build we’re proud of—well-crafted, functional, and made to serve the community for years to come.
